A 2.3-mile crushed-granite coastal path linking North Beach, the Pier, T-Street, and Calafia, running between the beach and the rail corridor. Popular for walking, jogging, cycling, and dog-walking.

Practical facts. Trail hours 4 a.m.–midnight, except the south T-Street–to–Calafia segment which is 6 a.m.–10 p.m. Bikes must yield and stay under 10 mph; no e-bikes of any class. Dogs on 6-ft leash; dogs not allowed on the beach. Smoking prohibited. ADA-accessible portions: North Beach to Mariposa, and Linda Lane to Pier. Do NOT trespass in the rail corridor (OCTA enforces).

Seasonality and crowds. Heavy summer/weekend use.

Know before you go. Bikes prohibited on the segment between the Pier and the Trafalgar Canyon bridge June 15–Labor Day; portions closed/rerouted during the coastal rail work.
