The northern anchor of the city beach and Beach Trail, home to the Ole Hanson Beach Club, the North Beach Metrolink station, and the historic 1938 Miramar Theatre (Clifford A. Balch architect; closed 1992, under redevelopment). A beachside café and the trail's north trailhead are here.
Practical facts. Metered parking $1.50/hour; Monday–Friday select spaces near the Metrolink station are $1/day commuter parking if you arrive 4–9 a.m. Restrooms, shower, picnic tables. Trail is ADA-accessible from North Beach to Mariposa.
